In a world where people no longer depend on nature to grow food, what will they eat? The answer is nutritious, uniform, easy-to-consume buckwheat. Somewhere, in a nondescript underground greenhouse massive fields of buckwheat are being maintained so all the people of the One State have sustenance. This dish, a personal favorite of mine, is incredibly straight to the point. As this dish is only for sustenance and maintaining  your uniformity, it has no embellishments or unnecessary flavor. It requires only two ingredients and is sure to keep you happy and in line for the rest of your day, or life in the case of the people of the One State.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • 2 cups water

Rinse the buckwheat, combine water and buckwheat, bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and cover, cook for 19 minutes
